主要圍繞著北緯路上一個(gè)名不見(jiàn)經(jīng)傳的相聲班社——萬(wàn)春社展開(kāi)，旨在通過(guò)小園子里的小人物折射出眾生相，“角兒們”在磨練技藝的過(guò)程中不斷地改變著對(duì)于相聲的理解、對(duì)于名利的心態(tài)、對(duì)于演員與觀眾之間的關(guān)系的領(lǐng)悟。通過(guò)該劇也希望能為觀眾展現(xiàn)相聲演員臺(tái)前幕后的故事，臺(tái)上是嬉笑怒罵互相成就的表演者，臺(tái)下是謙恭友愛(ài)相互包容的師兄弟，“臺(tái)上無(wú)大小、臺(tái)下立規(guī)矩”用全景模式立體展現(xiàn)屬于相聲人獨(dú)有的反轉(zhuǎn)魅力。

　　被迫和親的公主殷若水（李沐宸 飾）慘遭男主宇文笙（鄧凱 飾）的暴虐后拼死逃出，甚至不惜一切代價(jià)換了面容。而“大灰狼”還是很快找到了換臉后的“小白兔”，二人你追我逃的過(guò)程中，意外得知宇文笙對(duì)她的真摯情感，二人能否解開(kāi)心結(jié)破鏡重圓。

　　以2009年11月在日本真實(shí)成立的警視廳“特別搜查對(duì)策室”為舞臺(tái)背景的故事借由該團(tuán)隊(duì)的新人櫻木泉（上戶彩 飾）之眼展開(kāi)。
　　任職于特別搜查對(duì)策室的櫻木泉是個(gè)熱血又執(zhí)著的好青年，頗具正義感的她無(wú)法放任不公平和懸而未決的事情發(fā)生。而對(duì)策室則是匯聚各類精英的地方，泉的直屬上司長(zhǎng)島秀夫（北大路欣也 飾）就是警視廳響當(dāng)當(dāng)?shù)娜宋镏?。除了?yōu)秀的團(tuán)隊(duì)外，對(duì)策室還有最尖端的技術(shù)設(shè)備，像是利用DNA來(lái)鑒別兇手等。這樣的對(duì)策室把視線放在了那些未決的事件之上，集中精力調(diào)查棘手事件，只為尋求真相，還被害者一個(gè)公道，這就是對(duì)策室的目標(biāo)。緊張又刺激的故事就此展開(kāi)……

　　Filming has commenced on the first Christmas special and second series of the BBC's hugely successful crime drama Beyond Paradise. Co-commissioned with BritBox International and coming to BBC One and iPlayer, fans will be eager to see what’s next for Humphrey and Martha following their make-or-break trip to Saint Marie at the end of the last series.
　　Series one of Beyond Paradise became the UK’s most successful new drama launch of the year so far, averaging 8 million viewers, when it made its debut on BBC One and iPlayer earlier this year.
　　The Christmas special episode and second series will see the return of Kris Marshall as DI Humphrey Goodman, Sally Bretton as Martha Lloyd, Zahra Ahmadi as DS Esther Williams, Dylan Llewellyn as PC Kelby Hartford, Barbara Flynn as Anne Lloyd and Felicity Montagu as Margo Martins.
　　Filmed in picturesque locations around South-West England in Devon and Cornwall, the new series features the same joyful escapism, humour and mind-boggling cases fans have come to adore since series one.
