　　自古以來，人類與海洋的淵源就頗為深厚，人類之所以能夠進步和發(fā)展，也和海洋有著不可否認的關系。然而，在海洋資源被大力開采的同時，嚴重的污染也隨之而來，越來越頻繁的海洋災害讓人類吃了不小的苦頭。烏賊娘（金元壽子配音）是海里的忠實居民，看著生存的家園被破壞，忍無可忍的她決定給人類一個小小的教訓。
　　初涉陸地的烏賊娘還有些不太習慣，頂著一副可愛迷糊的蘿莉外形，還未教訓人類，自己就先失手打破了海之家的墻壁。無奈之下，烏賊娘只得留在海之家做打工妹來償還墻壁修補的債務。在海之家，烏賊娘認識了個性好強的相澤榮子（藤村歩配音），溫柔可人的相澤千鶴（田中理惠配音），活潑好動的相澤武（大谷美貴配音）。對于烏賊娘來說，雖然懲戒人類的大計尚未成功，但是就這樣和朋友們快樂的在一起，好像也是一種不錯的選擇。
