文革期間，下鄉(xiāng)女知青喬葉葉（李羚 飾）不識(shí)敵我，村支書帶她甄別全村的“四類分子”，當(dāng)來(lái)到所謂“壞人”金召（王詠歌 飾）家時(shí)，金召的坦蕩和熱情深深打動(dòng)了喬葉葉。知青組長(zhǎng)宋侃（叢林 飾）怕喬葉葉不能勝任繁重農(nóng)活，把她調(diào)到伙房幫廚，廚師盼雨（梁冠華 飾）憨厚樸實(shí)，對(duì)葉葉很有好感，尤端陽(yáng)（陳青 飾）認(rèn)為這正好體現(xiàn)知青與貧下中農(nóng)打成一片，在明知宋侃也對(duì)葉葉有意的情況下，她仍撮合盼雨與葉葉結(jié)合。新婚不久，盼雨病逝，而葉葉卻有了身孕，洽逢文革結(jié)束，知青大返城。宋侃和端陽(yáng)考上大學(xué)遠(yuǎn)走高飛，葉葉則面臨孤立無(wú)援之境。金召平反后坦露了對(duì)葉葉的愛意，葉葉對(duì)此十分感激......

　　This movie was what you would expect from a sequel that is looking to be a sweet and feel good comedy aimed at young audiences. It's great for kids as there is no swearing, questionable subject matter, et. Luke is a doll and comes across the dashing yet not uptight king (or prince, not sure) and I thought he and Paige (Kam Heskin) had great chemistry. You almost sense they really liked each other. Kam plays a little more of a glamorous Paige which I kind of liked now that it takes place in Europe. I found her very cute and funny and not uptight or stuffy either. I like her in Pride and Prejudice too. Kirsten (Clemency Burton-Hill)is hysterical and plays a great villianess. Her father, played by Jim Holt was very entertaining. And the Queen looked very regal and likable. Overall I thought this was a very cute, simple little movie that had some very funny parts and kept me entertained. Worth the rental
